  • What is ECC Albena 2026?

    ECC Albena 2026 refers to the European Controllers’ Cup (ECC), an annual football tournament exclusively for air traffic controllers across Europe. The 2026 edition will be hosted in Albena, Bulgaria, from 11–16 May 2026.

  • How many teams are participating?

    A total of 41* teams have already signed up, and the tournament is currently at almost full capacity.

  • How do teams register?

    To register your team, please contact us at bulseaatc@gmail.com.

  • What is included in the registration fee?

    The registration fee covers:

    • Hotel accommodation
    • Opening and closing parties (with a few surprises)
    • Stadium rental and associated taxes
  • What are the participation costs?

    The participation fee covers your full tournament experience, including lodging, event access, and local amenities. Prices vary depending on the hotel category you choose:

    • €715 per person for accommodation in a 4-star hotel
    • €840 per person for accommodation in a 5-star hotel
  • What should we know about travel and visa requirements?

    Bulgaria is part of the European Union and the Schengen Area, making travel visa-free and straightforward for most European countries.

  • Is airport transport included?

    Yes — transport from Varna Airport (LBWN) to Albena is included in the price. If you're arriving at a different airport, transportation can be arranged for an additional fee. Please contact the organizers for assistance.

  • How do we get between Albena and Varna during the event?

    A daily taxi service between Albena and Varna will be available. You’ll be able to book rides through the event website one day in advance.
